California Heartland Chorus, an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, was founded in 1957 in Fresno, California. The chorus has earned first place honors in SAI Region 11 contests four times, sending us to International competitions all over the United States. We have also been awarded first place, mid-size chorus awards several times. We celebrated our 50th anniversary last May with a phenomenal Birthday Bash attended by current, former, and founding members of the chorus and their families. Mission Statement California Heartland Chorus is the first Fresno chapter of Sweet Adelines International. As such, our goal is to sing four-part a capella music in barbershop style to the very best of our ability and to spread the joy of our music throughout the Central Valley of California | | |
